100th Day

Today is Emma's 100th day of school...which totally amazes me that she's been in that long and also means only 80 days left of the school year. Holy crap. Anyways to celebrate the 100th day, which apparently all schools do now but I have no recollection of when I was a kid, the teacher sent a note home to have the kids dress like they were 100 years old. I had some grand ideas of how Emma could look old. However she had some grand ideas on how she was absolutely not going to participate. Seriously how can one 5 year old be so opinionated?! Anyways I decided this was one battle I didn't care to fight so no dressing up for her. Whatever. I hope all the other kids are dressed up.
