The First Day of School: The Pick Up

All appears to have gone well with the first day of school. We picked Emma up yesterday and surprisingly the carpool line moved very quickly - I guess they've been doing it for a while so they certainly have a system. One of the teachers walked her out and she was all smiles when she got in the car. She had information posted all over her - a sticker and a notice reminding us the next day of Kindergarten is Monday. She said she had a good day and that she liked it a lot. She was surprisingly full of information - you know how they can be stubborn sometimes and not share. She told us about the centers, about going to the gym, lunch, snack time and rest time. All is good.

I'm so relieved she had a great day and wants to go back. We go tomorrow to meet her actual teacher - I'm hoping it's one she liked and there are some kids in there that she played with yesterday.

One more morning to sleep in....
