Elfie's Back!

Our Elf on the Shelf returned this morning! Elfie joined our family last year and the kids have been asking when he would return. If you are unfamiliar with the "Elf on the Shelf" check it out: http://www.elfontheshelf.com/. Super cute...Elfie left a note Friday morning and let us know he'd be arriving soon. The girls were so excited so they wrote him some notes back: Emma's is the first one. In case you can't read it is says: Dear ELFIE, We are so excited that you are comeing. We have been good but we are going eshr good. Today I am going to make my Chrimas list with my friend. We miss you. See you when you come. Love, Emma

Sure enough when we woke up this morning he had arrived!

He was sitting on the mantle waiting for us this morning. Let's hope he spurs on some good behavior especially since there is no school for the next 5 weeks!

PS: If you are wondering why there are no stockings on the mantle look carefully at the left side of Jacob's head. He has a (thankfully) very small dark bruise...Yep..As he came down from his nap he went right over and pulled the stockings down and got a head bang in the process. Sigh...Boys....
