Beach Blast

We decided to head to the beach for the last time this summer since we had a long weekend. Paul took the day off on Friday and we picked up the big girls a little early from school and headed down to Mom's. Gagi took Julia down to the beach a day early so the girls were super excited to get there too! We arrived around dinner time and just hung out at moms on Friday. Of course the girls wanted to stay with her - which was wonderfully fine by Paul and I. We got them settled and took Jacob with us over to the condo. I got to sleep in every day we were there (thank Paul!)..bliss! Saturday we went to the beach for a few hours and Paul took the girls to the pool while Jacob napped. Saturday evening we headed over to Broadway at the Beach to meet up with our friends the Ratners who live in Tennessee. It was so fun to meet up with them..they are such good people and so fun to be with. Between their 3 kids and our 4 we were quite a group but found a good place to eat at Senor Frogs - loud and good cocktails - what more could you ask for!

Sunday we went to the beach again - the kids just love, love the ocean! In the afternoon we just chilled and Paul and I got a date night in the evening. Mom graciously offered to keep all 4 kids so we could really have a night off! Bliss!! Paul and I went to a movie, dinner and drove around the Myrtle Beach strip. Really fun.

All in all a super relaxing, fun weekend! A great way to end a great summer!!
