Changing Clothes

so my 3 year old likes to change clothes several times throughout the day. it's seriously driving me nuts. why oh why can't she just put on one outfit and make it last the whole day. her new thing is her clothes are "hurting me" so i had to change. does she have a new issue or is she just being her independent strong willed self and making something up so i will give in to her need to change? it's crazy and i'm freaking sick of the laundry she's creating!!
